We are looking for an energetic person willing to prepare students for the 21st Century with hands-on STEAM based activities. Much of this work will be done with regular education teachers so the projects will become interdisciplinary units. We have spent over $16,000 in start-up materials to prepare students for the future in areas outside the traditional classroom. We want to expose and train students in activities that will truly promote creativity, collaboration, innovation, discovery, relevance, and knowledge of real world based issues that students can work on in a new age classroom. This area will be specifically designed to prepare for college and careers. This class will be the first of many in which the teacher becomes the facilitator for learning and is less of a traditional instructor. This is a new approach to teaching that we have seen enhance student interest and momentum. This is truly an exciting step in education.
We will accept teaching degrees in these four areas: Science, Math, Technology and Elementary.
- The following application material must be submitted to be considered:
- A completed Application Form.
- A cover letter.
- A resume.
- Five (3) letters of professional reference
- A copy of your current teaching certificate or notice of when you will be expecting to be certified.
