Through the coordination of the Missoula Writing Collaborative, our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade classes heard two Coyote Stories told in both Salish (with sign language) and English by Aspen Decker. The next day, Cameron Decker and Carolyn Simms came into the 4th and 5th grade classes for a lesson in Plains Indians Art history and to produce some ledger art and stories with the kids. This is all part of the Missoula Writing Collaborative that has been coming to our school for 20 some years. Thank you Missoula Writing Collaborative and Cameron & Aspen!
