We’re in this together. The students, the staff and the community. My purpose is greater than my challenges. The import work of schools - the safety, well-being and education of our kids is a worthy purpose worth fighting for and gives a higher calling to dig deep even when that tiredness of constant challenge tries to overshadow. We want to remain positive and have purpose in creating healthy environments to keep children, school staff and the community safe. Our goal is to do the business of schooling and keep your school open to benefit the entire community. Kirk Miller, SAM
If and/or when we are faced with masking and other safety measures necessary to keep children safe please be supportive in what we need to do in the best interest of our children. We want to be optimistic and we want to be back to normal as bad as anyone in the world. Please help us as we navigate difficult times. I beg of all of you to not pick sides and understand we may never all agree, but we can respect each other’s view and decisions the same. I told our students at the very beginning of all or this that we will learn a lot about people and their character in times of adversity. The world is divisive and we do not have to fall into the arena of alienating one another. Public
Education is what a large majority of Montanans were brought up with and continues to be the very best model for children in our great State. Support your local communities, schools, staff and students.
Be Kind- It is an honor serving our St. Ignatius Community.

New Elementary Student Drop Off / Pick Up Procedures!
Parents please study the map and plan your pick ups and drop offs accordingly. Notice that Blaine Street is a one way for BUSES only from 7:30-8:15am and 3:00-3:45pm. Notice that 2nd Ave. is a one way for PARENT VEHICLES only from 7:30-8:15am and 3:00-3:45pm (2:00-2:30pm on Fridays)
Please pull all the way forward and continue pulling forward when picking up or dropping off your child from the Student Drop Off Zone. This will help the flow of traffic and also prevent "leap frogging" of cars so that our students are visible to drivers and students can safely be picked up and dropped off. Pull Forward Continually Please as you drop off and pick up your child. *PLEASE do not drive south on 2nd Ave and ask your child to cross through traffic!*

New Student Drop-Off Area for Elementary Students-
St. Ignatius School District #28 will have a new drop-off area for families to utilize to keep our students safe. Families can utilize the entire sidewalk for a safer pick-up and drop-off zone for elementary students. Please park facing north and utilize the space to avoid having students walk across traffic and through the intersection. There will be no permanent parking on this sidewalk. (Drop-off and Pick-up only) Busses will utilize the front of the elementary for drop-off and pick-up and that street will be one way only during the school year with the usual blockades set up on both sides of the district during pick up and drop off times. Thank you for the help and keeping students safe.
